So frustrating, my daughter bought me the new home shirt for Christmas, unfortunately it was too small, she now need to post back at her expense & wait until mid February before new stock arrives. As she wanted me to have as a Christmas gift she purchased another gift unrelated to Salford Rugby league club. Surely as a professional club we need to do better with merchandise as this is one of the few areas we have access to making some money?

This is what I hoped would be fixed this year with the new supplier but its just as bad. In this day an age it is completely unacceptable to be waiting weeks/months for a shirt. It’s also counterproductive- how many casual/new fans will bother when a) they can’t try it on b) can’t get it for weeks and c) will have to do it all again if it’s the wrong size (which it is more likely to be if they can’t try it on).
Why not stockpile a reasonable amount right from the start? Enough to cover until at least the first month of the season.
Shambles.

Whilst not ideal it has been worse, only stock they d9nt have is the 2xl plus as far as I'm aware.
I returned my shirt on thurs, and they have posted out the new size today. Can't really argue with that, whilst you have to pay to send it back, if you give them a call they may well refund the postage to you.

I didn't want to start a new thread about this but the comparing all new SL shirt/kits ours seem a bit naff. But what really interested me was HKR's video promotion of theirs with models (it could be fans) including some girls wearing them,as opposed to the standard two player photo in home and away.Music and a bit of Millward footage I think. "Hull KR That's who we are!" I'd love to see SDR making something like that. Here's the link if you want to see it. www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/super-league-2019-home-away-2402945

I got an XL sized home shirt for Christmas which barely fits, and I'm not particularly fat.
On the plus side it makes my man boobs look like I've got pecks 😀

I am sorry I raised the issue again, however we seem to score the same own goal each season & never seem to learn from past mistakes. I understand at the time orders are placed cash flow is at its worst, however as a club surely we are able to commit a relatively low outlay with a guaranteed return from guesstimating previous shirt sales without too much risk?

What we have to realise is our club is run by Amateurs, who don’t have a clue about marketing and as far as I can remember 1958, never had.

The really annoying thing in all this was the offer of by Salford Apparel (think that's them) a couple of years ago to do the non playing merch totally independently of the club yet still share the profits.
When that was turned down it kind of gave an insight into the total lack of marketing the club has.

Assume the kit hasn't arrived for the team as no squad numbers been announced. Will they play in the old kit tomorrow? Also did Turgit finally sign as he doesn't appear in the team on the web site?

I was quite happy when my away shirt arrived early yesterday but, surprise, it is a very snug fit (I order the same size for ISC made shirts and they are usually a generous fit). However, there was no return address on the packaging or return instructions on the delivery note. Even simple things like this should be standard for any retail purchases from a professionally run firm.

Returning is easy.
Go to the website, print off the returns form. Fill it in and put it in the post or courier. Make sure you include tour order number, if the size is in stock they will dispatch on the same day. All details of where to send are on the form but agree wouldn't hurt to include one with every shipment sent out

Got my XXL home shirt before Xmas and it's tiny! Compared to last year's sizings there is easily a 2 size difference. The away kit is due to arrive tomorrow as well and is the same size.😭 The post-Xmas diet/gym hit hasn't kicked in yet so I'm guessing it'll be at least March before I get to wear the shirt otherwise we may be getting a bit of this... goo.gl/images/AxcKiM😮

Returns will depend if the size is in stock. If it is then you will wait less than a week
