I agree it doesn't come across too well, but at the end of the day he's come to play 7 games not comitment the rest of his playing career, so I'll judge his comitment after the first couple.
He's been brought in to bolster where we've all been crying out for and with Mateo they are a big improvement in what we currently have and we finally look like we have a decent pack.

It's quite clear that he never wanted to be here. His heart and family are in Oz. As long as he gives his all for the rest of the season then I'm happy. Tim Sheens said an interesting thing in his last interview when asked about loyalty in rugby league. He said that it's loyalty to that club for the term of a contract, as pro players are not the part time players of yesteryear. As long as he puts the effort in then he's done what he signed on the dotted line for.

I agree but you would think he might be more savvy than to word his interview the way he did. I think we should sign all 4 of them so they are all reunited.  |

He'll want to impress whilst he is over here as he quite clearly wants to secure himself another gig in the NRL somewhere. Under performing over here for the next couple of months wont help that.
Fair play to him he has left his wife and kid over there whilst coming over here to help secure our SL status. Top bloke.
