Apparently they are bringing in an NRL style shot clock too, for drop outs and conversions which I think most fans will appreciate.
Can't wait for the first golden point game when SKY are showing it live and they have to stop the live broadcast which we all know will happen.

Meh, I'd rather they just left it how it is - sometimes a draw is a fair result. There's normally only a handful of draws each season though, so it's not a massive deal for me.

Shot clock - good idea. Golden point - what a load of rubbish! I fail to see how golden point extra time would be any more exciting than an actual draw. Ten minutes of repeated drop goal attempts- nah you are alright.

However, with our crappy tiny scoreboard at the AJ Bell how would we even be able to see the shot clock?!😂 We can't afford a bigger one so maybe the fans can just do a 10 second countdown like you hear at the Basketball/Ice Hockey?🤔 (that's assuming all our fans can count to 10😉) |

One other rule you've missed is the reduced interchange from 10 down to 8.
Can see packs getting lighter to allow the players longer game time, should also mean a more skillful dummy half will do well against tired bodies.

I did see that and wondered if Watson knew so was getting more 2nd rowers than out and out props for that reason.

On the Subject of New ideas in RL That aren't new in other Sports , I see as I write this There is a NFL Game currently taking place in Detroit time is 14:10 currently plus minus 5c I assume it's in a covered stadium .
In the future I wouldn't bet against that happening in the Football world in Europe. Matches on weekday afternoons , and in Decades to come Hull KR. V Salford Tuesday afternoon 2pm kick off .🙄
