I am a first time season ticket holder with my 2 kids. Opted for the direct debit scheme. Was told the first payment would be taken on 1st November and this is the date referred to on the website FAQ’s. I haven’t had a payment taken yet. Just wondered if anybody else on here who is paying by DD has had a payment taken yet? I emailed the club and needless to say haven’t had a reply.

Any update on this?
Bit disappointing if the club isn't getting this right.

Just seems strange that I was told start of November and website says the same. Oh well I can’t be bothered chasing the club - will see if they do eventually start taking payments or if my forms have been lost!

I'd just be careful though they don't sat you've missed the early bird dead line.

Cheers for this info - confirms something has gone wrong! Bit annoying really given I travelled 20 miles from where I live to the ticket office, chose some good seats with the ticket office lady, completed the DD form and even had an email shortly after thanking me for becoming a season ticket holder! To be honest it’s not really financially viable for me to be a season ticket holder as I can’t get to all of the games but I wanted to contribute to the club. I will ring them if they aren’t going to reply to email!

For anyone remotely interested it was an oversight by the club and my DD form went missing. Can’t fault the prompt and helpful way in which they have dealt with it today - all sorted now.

Still not renewed mine, good chance I'll be missing a hell of a lot of games, if that's not the case I'll renew before the season starts.

I had a call tonight from the club asking why I had not renewed.
First time ever someone has called me from the club.
I have my reasons which the lady accepted.

Volunteers from the Supporters Trust have been calling lapsed season ticket holders and many have renewed although we respect those that don't feel they want to. Hopefully we will reach 2k season tickets before the start of the season and the new recruits can only help that.
Just another way the Supporters Trust is dedicated to driving the club forward despite the detractors

Really impressive work by the supporters trusts volunteers
Is 2000 ST holders a realisitic target? That must be a record number for a number of years mustn’t it?
Weren’t we down to 600 or 700 at one point?

From what i can gather we are ahead of this time last year and if i remember correctly we have not had more than 1800 season ticket holders for a few seasons so yes 2000 is a push but we have to have ambition and build on the positive momentum. On another note the club's PR machine is doing a great job getting the message out there which can only help

Fingers crossed that we continue to build I agree that the PR has been great so far. I particularly like seeing some of the training they are up to

The social media effort has been spot on but it’s been getting better for a while. And I agree on the training videos - it’s keeping me interested despite there being no games for a while.
