I'm going to pay mine by credit card, just waiting for the statement date to click over to the next month...... would be good for the club to say IF they do receive some of the admin fee though... You can manually change when the DD starts, I've gone for Feb to get the horrible season out of the way.

The direct debits will be managed by a third party (known as a premium funder) who will pay Salford upfront for the full £500 (often once the first instalment is paid) and then the funder takes the extra £100 as their fee, which pays for the admin and any bad debts. This is how football season tickets work (the club pays the funder a fee if the scheme is interest -free). I'm not aware of any payments going back to the clubs in these arrangements, so not convinced Salford will get a bean although a 20% admin fee (flat interest rate) is frickin high... That’s interesting. I wasn’t aware of that. It wouldn’t surprise me if relatively low volumes and a slightly suspect credi history mean that Salford have to pay over the odds for that kind of service I know they had a supporters trust volunteer actually entering the direct debit info onto the system and setting up payments for (at least some of) the season ticket direct debits. And a very good job she did too when there was some confusion over my family ticket

Nope, not me Guv... I think the Club are organising a pre-season "launch" in December... has anyone had any more info on this? Not heard anything myself. I did get a really decent club email newsletter this morning though with pre-season update, Langworthy awards evening plus details of the Willows Memories Evening in December etc. Really impressed with it and I've booked 3 places for the Willows night. The club rightly have had a lot of stuck in the past for the admin/media etc side of things but this is a vast improvement. Amazing how enthused fans can get over a bit of positive PR eh? There's nothing like feeling part of the club and being valued as a fan. Keep up the good work guys!!!
