I also want to go for the Gold or Platinum option but I'm disappointed that there is no option to pay the full amount online. You either have to go to the stadium office (I live in frickin' Essex!) or do it by direct bank transfer (no details provided in the article) so I'm waiting on an email from the club with details of how to do the latter I have "permission" to go for the Platinum option (I didn't tell the wife about Gold or Silver....) Hope I can make at least some of the freebie events! Any news on paying online? Assume they take credit card payments over the phone? I think if you e mail enquiries@salfordreddevils.net they will get back to you with options for paying in full.

Got an email back from the club about paying by debit/credit card...
"No problem at all, when you’re ready, call 0161 786 1590 and either Adam or Tracey can take your payment if I’m not there"

Not that I approve of keeping things from the missus - and in any case she always finds out when I try to - but that adjustment of the options available might just wo ...
Oh, hello dear. No, nothing... I'm just on the Salford forum.
Let me make you a brew.

Good to see a bit of pro activity.
If someone from the club does read this they should set up a bank account to allow adhoc donations.
Costs nothing and could make some pennies.

Gone for the Platinum option, little confused as it says from 500 but when you fill in the DD it goes up to 60 per month for 10 months.
If the extra is a charge think it's a bit much, if the club gets it fair enough but somehow doubt it.

Apparently the extra from direct debit payments are split between the club and various admin costs.

Jesus wept that's a little extreme, would hope the Lions share goes to the club not the other parties.

I don't know the percentage split but would imagine that it will be in the clubs favour.

Would love to see what "various admin costs" actually breaks down as.🤔 As far as I can tell all they're physically doing is creating a direct debit (do companies get charged for this?) which takes 5 minutes. Let's say the employee helping set this up is on £20k a year then this 5 minutes effort would cost roughly (based on a 35hr working week) 85p. It's why I get so pi$$ed off when companies fleece you for "booking fees" etc when all they're doing is taking a nice little earner for themselves for minimal effort.

The direct debits will be managed by a third party (known as a premium funder) who will pay Salford upfront for the full £500 (often once the first instalment is paid) and then the funder takes the extra £100 as their fee, which pays for the admin and any bad debts. This is how football season tickets work (the club pays the funder a fee if the scheme is interest -free). I'm not aware of any payments going back to the clubs in these arrangements, so not convinced Salford will get a bean although a 20% admin fee (flat interest rate) is frickin high...

Well I've gone for it on the chucky as deep down I think Salford will move the goalposts on some items included, there is unfortunately previous for this IE the grass from the Willows.
More than happy to pay the £500 but I'll be honest now I've read how the extra £100 will be handled it is giving me cause for second thoughts.

I'm going to pay mine by credit card, just waiting for the statement date to click over to the next month...... would be good for the club to say IF they do receive some of the admin fee though...
