Didn't realise he was top scorer, not bad considering the length of time he was out with the broken leg.
Does however show that our other backs are sadly lacking in getting over the whitewash.

The Hardaker situation at Wigan worries me a bit in that if they decide to cut their losses on him then Evalds does seem to be the type of player that would be very well suited to dovetale the full back with Escare. Hope am not tempting fate but have wondered why a bigger club has never took a serious look at him.

Niall Seems the Sought of Person who is Happy as long as He's getting paid on time
Doesn't like rocking the Boat, He's always been a Salford fan so I believe Although born in Halifax I'm sure I read his Dad is from Salford. Could be wrong. He's had offers from other Super League teams in the past, You could call him a Very Talented Steady Eddy. But you never know
He could decide to go for a Very large but In the long run not Rewarding Pay Packet Away from Salford.

Niall is still a young lad, but has also started getting the recognition he deserves at a club that is often overlooked. No mean feat. I suppose if he is getting that recognition here, he may not feel the need to take the chancy move of going for a 'bigger' club. Time is on his side, and I think he's acutely aware that he's comfortable where he came up through the ranks. After all, when O'Brien kept him out of his position, that would have been the prime time for him to be tempted away. He didn't do that. He knuckled-down and fought his way back into the position he wanted. He seems to be Salford through and through if you ask me. Certainly at this stage anyway.
