Each club plays each other home and away, and then 6 loop fixtures. Yet another odd RL concept.

There will be a stupid throw a 6 to start type method. Just crazy, everyone plays everyone else and then have an end of season competition.
A nines league would generate some interest, a more funky product to market.

That's one of the troubles.Gimmicks. Don't think a 9's league is a gimmick, there's going to be an international 9's comp so it could help that.
If all teams played at one ground each week it would be a cash cow too.

I’ve read that too JJR but don’t think I’ve seen it from anywhere official? I hate loop fixtures but i guess we’d be one of the teams that would struggle most of the TV money was diluted or if there were 3 fewer home games

Reading the League Express it's one down then a play off from the championship do others read it like that.

That's a point does the bottom team get relegated and then the loop fixtures happen or are they still involved?

Whoever is bottom after the loop fixtures is relegated (29 games including magic weekend). Top 5 at that point play to decide the winner
I’d thought it was whoever was top of championship was promoted but I’ve since read it’s a top 5 play off too so will be a promotion decider again
