If I’ve worked this out correctly, worst case is a home draw in the mpg. Unless there’s an unprecedented score in one of the other games,us losing to Toulouse means that Leeds Toronto is the key game with the Wolfpack knowing what they have to do,and Leeds knowing how to relegate us ! No conspiracy theories. It is what it is but I’ll repeat the point made a while ago that it’s ludicrous the the staggered matches allow this to happen. Only in Superleague !

In theory yes, but reality is we can't have a home tie as Sale are playing at Barton that day so a jaunt to six finger city awaits.

Confident we'll get the win on Thursday. Toulouse will be bang up for it but with Hastings back I expect us to pull through. Bit dire that we're putting all our hope on him, but if we have to wrap him in cotton wool till Thursday then so be it (no sillyness in training for **** sake)🙄

Fingers crossed it's not needed as all things being equal we will polish of the Frenchies on Thursday and be safe before the rest play.
That's another thing, it's shocking that all games don't start at the same time to prevent dead rubbers or a team knowing beforehand what exactly is required of them.

I can’t see anything but a win on Thursday. Assume we will almost be at full strength, at home, ready to make amends for this week and with the boost of having the ‘chosen one’ back.
From the start of the qualifiers I’ve thought we were a bad match up for Toulouse anyway. There defence isn’t good and we just need to watch Ford and the offloads.

They are on a high and we are in a mini slump. Flat crowd, flat atmosphere etc will all help the away side. It would be great to see a decent turnout but the late date change plus general apathy, even though a win will see us stay up, means it will probably be a low crowd.

For simplicity,is this correct ? If we lose and HKR and Toronto win then we’re at home in the mpg. Otherwise we’re safe.
