No Vidot again and now Carney missing, do find it incredibly frustrating that we as a club still don't engage with the fans and let people know about injuries to the squad.

Any news on why they aren't selected? I can only presume it's due to injury. In saying that, we've played some great rugby with one or both of them out of the match say squad.
With any luck Hull will be resting a few players too.

Think from the highlights of last week Carney looked crocked when he came off and I'm sure I've seen on antisocial media that Vidot is struggling with his shoulder again, my point is the club could so easily just keep people abreast of what is happening with the squad.

I agree, it would be so easy to give some general feedback about injuries, without being too optimistic about return dates. Just a simple description of the problem and how rehab is going. From the horse's mouth it seems to be an achilles problem this time for Daniel.

Doesn't say anywhere but looked quite full from the main stand.
Was a very enjoyable game with plenty of good attacking, you still think the defence is where next season will be need to be bettered, we looked like rabbits in the headlights on the flanks at times and for me we are missing a trick by not playing Jones in the centres. Beggars belief that we don't get the ball to MCB more as you can just see he has the beating of anyone (I'll say it again we let him go and I'll be bitterly disappointed in the management team) and is proving to be a willing workhorse in the first couple of hit ups. Dobdon had one of his most assured games and the try by Lui was a proper magic trick. BMM seems to be coming back to where he started from and think he might know he's the one stood on the trap door if an import needs to be cut at the end of the season.
Glad Hull have finished top and I'd like them to go on and win rather than one of the usual suspects and hope it's us one day soon.
Very sareel experience for me as I took two friends from Belgium who knew nothing about RL but enjoyed themselves, delighted in the fact that they were watching the Red Devils but did find us all quite potty.

I really enjoyed the Hull game. Unfortunate to see us cough up the ball as much as we did though and give away needless penalties, I think we were quite lucky that Hull were doing similar. I think the frenetic pace of the first half took a lot out of the players in the second half, but it certainly made it entertaining.
Josh Griffin had his second to worst game in a Salford shirt, his first one being Widnes at Magic Weekend after his father had passed. So no surprise to learn his grandparent had passed and he had attended a funeral on Friday prior to the game. You would have thought we would have learnt from that and given him the night off. I don't think it helped that we were playing Hull either and he was probably trying that little bit too hard.
All said and done, we should have beat them just as we should Warrington and Wigan at home earlier in the season. We're so close to being up there and beating these times on a regular basis.
