On this weeks BBC Super League Show, Tania Arnold was interviewing Hastings about the St Helens v Wigan game and asked him what he thought of Wigan adding that he was there at the game. Now I may be overly suspicious, but when she said he was there, I red light flashed in my head. Fast forward to last nights match Wigan v Wakefield and Brian Carney during his TV presentation commented on Hastings future saying "He will be here in Super League next year. And when I say here I mean HERE at the DW Stadium."

I suspect a lot of where Jacko will be playing next year will be dependent on where Lui is playing....they seem to have built up quite a bond and clearly enjoy playing with each other.......oh! and whether we can afford him.....

Good old "Uncle Brian" eh? 🙄
Let's just enjoy him whilst he's here for one and hopefully the lad may decide to stay.

The ironic thing being that the better he plays, the more chance we have of surviving in SL and indeed as a club, and the more chance that he will move on. He’ll only avoid interest if he’s crap and that’s no use to us!
If we live to fight another day I’ll be nothing but grateful to him. He’s created a good buzz about the club and a couple more wins is job done.

Rumour has it they have signed Lam junior, but no surprise that all the top teams would be sniffing round Hastings given the impact he has had not only on the pitch but off it aswell. The media certinaly seem to love him, when as the last time a salford player was on the BBC, SKY and ITV in the same week? It will be intresting to see the crowd tomorrow as i think a few stay aways will be tempted back and if we can sutain the results, media interest and good feel factor throughout the 8s then you can bet Marwan will be getting itchy feet. IMO This will be the only way we can afford to keep him so lets concentrate on enjoying the next few weeks and hopefully keeping our place in SL. Never dull at Salford is it

We are realists at Salford.
I still think Marwan will have a say in all this conjecture.

We are realists at Salford. I still think Marwan will have a say in all this conjecture. Was thinking exactly the same but I know some people get a real hard on if you mention anything positive about him.
It's pretty easy to see we've found that special talisman that the Doc was always looking for in his time with the club and oddly I think he came closest with the player Hastings is replacing in Dobson.

Says the man who continually moaned about him when he was at the club. Once a pariah now a saviour make your mind up. I hope MK does put more money in for JH and I will be very grateful if he did. Just don’t let him back
