I watched it earlier and concur. I also think Hastings dropped the biggest hint yet in this interview that he could be with us next season. He was very non committal in the bbc north west tonight interview . However there was a bit more in this one. He said words to the effect that there is a good chance he will be in super league next season and how he benefits from the particular players around him such as Lui etc. It’s the latter point I took hope from.

RL is about money. It's who offers him the best deal Warrington, Wigan, Leeds, Salford?

I like Hastings. He's a decent lad. If he stays with us I'll be delighted. If he moves on I'll wish him the best. It seems the club are doing their hardest to try and tempt him to stay. Getting his Mum over, and letting him bloom might pay dividends for us. Kudos to the club for doing the right thing regardless. For a twenty-two year old, he's really mature off the field and has some really good points. Hopefully we'll sort our SL status and get on with trying to retain our talent.
