Something occurred to me this morning.
If we were involved as the home team in the MPG and assuming it is to be played as per normal the Saturday after the weekend of the final round of fixtures there is a problem.
Saturday 6th October 2018 Sale 15:00 Newcastle
That would be interesting, would the RFL make us give up home field advantage or would we have the insane situation again where we were forced to play at say Leigh as happened a few seasons ago.
Hopefully not going to be an issue but would love to be a fly on the wall of a few meetings if it did.

Think u know the answer. We hold no sway against sale when it comes to the stadium so we would probably end up at Leigh

After watching Toronto vs HKR and London I am convinced we should have far too much for them. The travel issue will come into it for them also so I can only see a Salford win by 16 minimum. 1 win vs London (away) and Toulouse(home) will sew up our 2019 Super League place then.

I actually agree but the scenario could be devastating if we say played Toronto with all there ex Leigh connections and the undoubted support Rowley would get if we played there.

Can only see Toronto v Toulouse or Leeds in the £1m game. Not sure what the rfl would do if a Leeds-Toronto game. Imagine a very swift league extension to 14 may follow though!!!

If Leeds fail the Yorkshirecentric RFL would face a huge dilemma, keep the darlings of Red Hall as was in SL or risk another Bradford materialising, think Toronto is more expendable to them as there seems to a great deal of friction between the RFL and the owners of other SL teams. FWIW I reckon Toronto and Hull KR in the MPG, much will depend on home field advantage, don't think any team would win over the pond in such a crunch game.
