Have we any idea if jackson and joey have any thoughts about staying on next season.
Also what would we need to do as a supporter to try and make it happen.
After these last few seasons these two feel like a breath of fresh air.

Keep turning up and creating a great atmosphere. Nowt more we can do. It’s down to money unfortunately but then both seem to have taken a liking to the club which is a positive.

Says in League Express that Hastings is loving it here and hasn’t seen anything so far to make him or his management think he should leave. However, money talks so I would expect that might change should his “management” start receiving big offers.

Can we not maintain that Hastings and Lussick are complete garbage, stop bigging them up and hopefully put the scent hounds off the trail?

Lussick is the new foran. And JLJ is a better halfback than hast....dam can't bring myself to that one

Important that we guarantee survival early, so that the stuff currently on hold to start the ball rolling for next year can start. Including the retention of players. You never know, next year is another year and you never know what's around the corner.
All this optimism is rubbing off on me, haha.

That's a pointy will JLJ stay beyond the end of the season?
Looked pretty decent at #1 but not going to be anywhere as good as Evalds.
Will there be room for Lussick, Brining and Tomkins?

Yes our season changed when O'Brien left. We need Wood Hastings Lussick Brining Lui plus ano half back, from the next tier. And, of course, Evalds. Then we can build a team.

I feel sorry for Tomkins, hugely underrated in my eyes as gets through a lot defensively for us. Sure he's not the dynamic playmaker 9 that Clark and McShane are but every team needs players that get through the grunt work every game. Lussick is big enough to play 13 with some ease for me.

Think Tomkins is a cracking player, he is though an old style hooker who would need to play 80 minutes on a regular basis to counteract his lack of creative talent.
Wood is a huge talent and falls into the Evalds mould of if he was at a bigger club his talent would be much more widely recognised.
A spine of Evalds/Wood/Lui/Lussick/Brining/Timkins/Hastings is second to non in SL. Said it earlier in the peice but its frustrating knowing that the adequate replacement of Dobson would have made much a huge difference to our season.

Sorry for being mr doom!but as I’m aware the club is losing 300grand a year plus the debt already we have I have certainly heard there is more chance of selling lui and kopzcak than retaining Jackson and joey we need a financial benefactor we dnt have one!
