Thought we got the job done in a professional manor. You can only beat what's in front of you and that was a very poor Widnes team.
It was my first time seeing Hastings in the flesh - my god what an impact he is having. His enthusiasm is so infectious, the whole team and fans seem rejuvenated. He looks to be absolutely loving it, geeing up the fans at every opportunity and playing with a smile on his face. His constant talking and organising on the pitch is great to see and has freed up Lui to play off the cuff (Lui was outstanding btw)
If you get a chance to have a watch of Hastings' post match interview on the club Twitter/FB, he can't say enough good things about the club and his team mates. I think he's genuinely blown away with the reception he's had from the fans and hopefully we get to have another season watching him at least. If not, let's just enjoy him while he's here.
Onwards and upwards.

Indeed. But what does Watson see in Darrell Olpherts. !?!? Everyone will have a their take on the game.I don't think Olpherts will ever make it.He looses the ball twice near our twenty five he drops the ball when he should be going under the posts we got lucky with that one.For me Biby offers more its all right saying he is in because of potential but we are playing seven games for our survival we are not good enough to be carrying passengers.I also think Chanberlain is wasted on the wing and should be in the centre we won so we can enjoy the rest of the weekend but is that the worst Widnes team ever, certainly in my sixty odd years of watching the game it comes quite close.Their was a rumour going round that if we stay up Hastings as signed a two year contract. Let’s hope it’s true. If we could add a bit of pace into the mix and keep Lui it would be a cracking team to watch.

Usually rate your opinion but I think your wrong about chamberlain however, I think he's been outstanding on the wing, has pace to burn and finishes well, not agree?

I'd be properly chuffed if Hastings did stay for a further 2 yrs, he and Lui for me are as good as it gets in SL as a halves pairing.
Think Widnes will be lucky to even make the MPG and with Hull beating Toronto there is the very real prospect we get to listen to Noble whining about how unfair the schedule is ahead of them potentially not getting promoted.
Thugpack V Hull KR winner takes all.

If we can keep up the level of intensity and grind teams out in the way we have done vs Leeds, HKR and Widnes yesterday then we should be looking at the Leeds game being the qualifiers group winner fixture. Would prefer to have survival sewn up before travelling down to London and hosting Toulouse.
If we keep everyone fit and avoid suspensions then it's a very real possibility. Thought Lussick was really dangerous when on the pitch and offers another positional kicking option.

Was Lussick binned for something he'll get a ban for?

Was Lussick binned for something he'll get a ban for? Possibly. Depends on the mood of the disciplinary panel members. In my opinion it was clumsy at worst. The Hull KR player was backing into Lussick and falling. Lussick ended up with arms round his neck and then with his weight on the other guys head/neck. So falls within definition of crusher tackle but looked more like how it ended up rather than intention. But I haven’t watched it back yet so might be wrong. Looked to me like one that wouldn’t have been punished without the replays for the video ref. You get at least one in most games Hopefully they will consider it dealt with or a warning letter for technique

Speaking of discipline, really REALLY hope Tasi gets rested for the Thugpack game, he's to hot headed to be playing against such a dirty team.
If he plays he sees red.

Problem is we cannot afford to rest him. They have some big units we need all the size and strength we can get. When we do play them we need to be at them right from the off.

Sad to see the performance of Widnes and probably on their way out; Wella for Burke & Chamberlain, that is good business IB IW.
Watched the Toronto game, that pitch a disgrace. This circus with Toronto can't go on, it's a joke.

This circus with Toronto can't go on, it's a joke. I watched it as well. They are as advertised- big aggressive pack, some pace, shocking discipline and a lack of organisation about them. If we can hold out during the Sims/Lussick periods then we should be ok.

The 4G pitch at London Broncos Trailfinders is Supposed to be a Better quality. So it is Said
