Great result! I make that 3/3 against Widnes this season. It's annoying that we'd be in 6th right now if it wasn't for the points deduction but that should give us confidence going in to next season knowing that we're more than capable of being a top 8 team.
MCB hat-trick was brilliant too.

I thought MCB's hat trick was a real good one. Every one of them needed scoring. Lui's pass though. Real class. Could be an important win in the scheme of things with us getting mainly home games. I think we're easily the best team in the bottom four and should breeze the 8's.

I'm really nervous about the middle 8's. We need to be above at least one of Leeds, Hudds and Rovers, and that is if a Championship club doesn't hit a streak of form, to avoid the MPG. Squeaky bum time.

Was err away err and err had err to err listen err to err Ray err French err his way through then commentary.
Just seen the highlights, MCB is a gem and will if we keep him turn into a prolific try machine (speed such as he has is priceless) but some of our defence for the Widnes tries was dire, one in particular was scored from 30 yards out in line with the black dot and he got through without a hand being laid on him. Much as I like Watson something urgently needs to be done with our defensive structure (or lack there of) if we have a sugar Daddy in charge still next season a dedicated D coach is unquestionably needed.
As for the MCB to Wigan rumours if true we need shooting, sign on a long term deal and make him on of the young British nucleus every RL team needs, certain if he goes to Wigan he will turn into another sure fire winner we let go.
