Thank you all for participating in the ESPL Prediction League, and big thanks to @michiganred for working out the scores every week, who will now start the Middle 8s Prediction League. Thanks mate! The final result came down to a single point - congratulations steald1977 and unlucky to lemmy who relinquishes his crown as Deviltalk ESPL champion by the narrowest of margins. Well done to nighthawkred and salfordredforever who were languishing towards the bottom of the table at the midway stage and earned themselves a 3rd and 4th place finish respectively (19th and 21st at the halfway stage!). I’d like to thank my boring dinner times at work sitting with a Pot Noodle at my desk ruminating over who I assumed would beat Salford and Widnes each week whilst everyone else sits in the sun outside being sociable. Thanks to Bandgeek and Michigan and all the chaps and chapesses who crunched the numbers after every round. Proper keeps the forum alive in some of the duller moments following this beloved club of ours. I’ll try my best in the playoff league but it’s been a long-hard season and the tank is almost empty, will log in from Spain in my new Tshirt (that Georgie Best one looks pretty sweet).
