Red fan I think the total needs to include the collection at the Leeds match and money sent directly to the ST account. Total is probably around £12,000 ie about 60%.
I think a lot of people have tried to get through to the Club about getting it back on the front page. Might be worth others trying. I couldn't get through.

In theory a great idea but in reality doomed to fail.
An obvious reason is coming right at the start of the school holidays meaning finances for those with kids is tight. Didn't help being so close to the Catalan trip again meaning finances for those who went was either ear marked for that or getting through till pay day upon return.

10 grand in a week is impressive and worth a pat on the back. The problem is that the way this was communicated makes it look a bit of a failure and also means there isn’t much incentive for donations now the transfer deadline has passed. Ah well, 10 grand isn’t to be sniffed at.

In fairness the current fundraiser was pitched as a squad builder so it's to be expected that it will drop off now that the transfer deadline has passed.
Obviously two of the teams we are playing at home will be bringing zero away fans which is not ideal so it would be good if something else gets sorted before the end of the season.
They do something similar to the idea suggested in this thread at the ice hockey. I think it's £250 to 'own and loan' your selected players home/away shirt for the season. For this you get your name or company printed on the back of the shirt and then at the end of the season you are presented with the shirt by the player that you have sponsored. Maybe something worth looking at for next season.

So someone who was in Lloret could not spare the price of a green cocktail ? Kids school holidays should not have relevance either. Spare the price of a few ice creams and chip in. I still think the money raised in one week from the fan base we have is impressive. I applaud all that contributed and got involved.

I genuinely despair at our club as I as well as many other fans have contributed to the recent Squad Builder Appeal and I am happy with the results so far, they could have been much better however if the initial appeal page had been kept at the front of the web site for as long as possible. I contacted the club via email suggesting this along with several other fans, but as usual nothing happens and another chance to raise funds has been missed. Not even an aknowledgement, very poor.

The Squad Builder Appeal closes tomorrow 5th Aug) so i expect that with IB away this week that he and/or the ST will be responding early next week after the final total has been calculated.

Well done Supporters Trust. They couldnt run it because it conflicted with the potential share plan but they seemed to support it fully: did the fantastic bucket collection and are holding the funding on behalf of the fans (we don't want a Bradford Bulls).
Assume the Club will thank the fans when they need some more money😉
