Prior to the recent Castleford home game, the club said that they were issuing 10,000 flyers to promote the match. Does anyone know where these flyers were delivered to? Local businesses, sports clubs, local houses? There was a slight improvement in attendance, but you'd think that such mass marketing would have done better.

Unfortunately until the club achieve stability I am not sure marketing will work?

Hard to market something that is lurching about.
That's why it's imperative that next season there is no arguing with the RFL, no court dates and no outlandish statements.
Just come and watch a well run club with a team playing attractive winning rugby.

The marketing at Salford could definitely do with being improved. Social Media is OK, but for those who don't frequently use Facebook or Twitter there has to be a better way to reach out to the local catchment area.
The best marketing the club can do is getting the right results on the pitch. Hopefully we can achieve this next season when we are free of points deductions and ongoing spats with the RFL.
