I heard Hull KR were after him too... but if he still lives in Salford and has signed for HKR then he has just doubled his commute for the next few weeks

Does anyone know if he plays the full 80 as is the norm for most hookers in the NRL?
Would be a huge bonus to the team not to have a back up hooker on the bench, 3 forwards and a back would be so much more balanced.

He's only played one game in the NRL, I don't know how many minutes he's been putting in the lower grades, probably best to have an interchange hooker for the first couple of games to see how he goes.

He’s been spelled all year with some of the games him playing in the halves for the full 80

Yes lets play a hooker we know nothing about with limited experience for the full 80 and bin off one of our better performers this season! Even if we have unearthed some diamond in the rough I’d be happy to spell him and Wood. Then if anyone gets injured we have options.

Watson has said he wants to spell Wood so that we can help him be more effective. 3 forwards and a hooker is routine for all teams now now and is what Watson has pretty much always gone with when he’s had the option. Can’t see why we would as a choice go with a centre, winger or full back on the bench. Not sure how that gives us better balance
