Someone made a very good point on a Facebook group: With Marwan and Beaumont being best buddies, if Leigh don't make top 4 do you think there's scope for us to sign some Leigh players on loan? Unlikely as the transfer deadline is this Friday. |

Think Wood is a player who will move to another club then suddenly people discover just how much talent he has ALA Ratchford after Mr Pringle refused to play him regularly. That’s not quite how I remember it with ratch, think everyone knew how good he was, always preferred him to myler. For me he hasn’t quite lived up to what I thought he could have with wire, although he has improved this last season or so with seemingly nailing down the full back position. Re wood, for me up there for player of the season and certainly most improved. I didn’t really think he would be capable of the step up but he’s proved me wrong! Yeah those were the days when all the Salford fans were saying how awful it was that McRea wouldn’t play Ratchford and Turner in their favourite positions. Even if though transfer deadline is Friday, deals could still be done with Leigh, with an opt out clause if Leigh make the top 4 / or any loan players are ineligible to play for Salford V Leigh. |
