Did nothing first time here and even less second time.
Don’t know what he was on but we have better and younger forwards and maybe with his wage if the rumours are true we can use this to get another player as we certainly need one.

I'd give Murray, Bennion or N'Zongzou a chance to take his place. Burgess has hardly pulled up trees in either of his stints at the Club.

I’d heard he was due to go back to Aus at the end of the year and starting a business for next year
He’s had a few very good games for us where he’s really put us on the front foot and I can’t remember a poor one from him in this spell
He’s just not on the pitch enough. He came with a bad injury record so it’s no surprise

He came with a bad injury record so it’s no surprise Agree with this. When he came back I thought he had a really good start to his 2nd spell but he seems to have disappeared off the radar recently. Tbh I'm not sure if it's an age thing on my part or just the lack of any decent coverage from the club but I'm really out the loop with what's going on at the minute re: injuries etc. It's mentioned above that surely we need to be looking at some of the fringe players. I remember Levy's debut (ok it was against a tinpot rabble in Swinton😏) but he looked aggressive, had a decent turn of foot for a big guy and seemed capable of putting in big minutes. Not sure why he hasn't been given his head this season (I know he's still young for a front rower) but I'd like to see him in the squad for the next few games now it appears the top 8 is beyond us. At the very least it'll give some of our pack, who've put in big minutes this season, a bit of respite before we fight to save ourselves from potential oblivion! |

According to Ian Watson's interview after the HKR game, he's had an operation on his knee. 2 or 3 weeks away from returning.
