Shocking signing and hope the doc helped pay him off. This money should have been spent far more wisely other than a box office which failed epically. Hopefully free up a little money to make some signings this year

Sad end or him, ould have loved to seehim play at his full potential as he is an absolute 100% animal when on it. As for replacements think MCB after the one off test and I'd got to Featherstone and go for the winger, as for the half see someone has mentioned Chris Sandow NO we don't need a fancy dan who hasn't played poperley since he left Warrington in such shady circumstances, Matty Smith for me, either on loan or permanently.
The issue we have is with Evalds being out our biggest try scorer and cracking full back is missing at the most vital time, we'll end up putting Olpherts there who looks like he couldn't scrore in a brass house in Eccles. We need 2 wingers urgently.

Shame it didn't work out for him here - probably a bit past it, he was quality when at his peak though. Hope it all goes well for him.
Hopefully it means we can bring in a half decent player or three!

We’ve paid him off.
It’s good news that he’s not hanging about but,if you think how far we’re into the season,and it was a negotiated settlement,I’d be surprised if we’ve saved more than 25% of his salary.

A great player 3 yrs ago but injuries took its toll.

Apparently took up a boxing career, won 1st fight but then not allowed to fight because of cyst on the brain.
Said after leaving Salford he's in denial about not being able to play RL again and hasn't watched a match. Sad we never had a season of him and he didn't have a final season. Think he's still NZ leading try scorer.
