Salford. 9th. Played 16 Points 10. Hull (a), Widnes (h), Wire (a), Hull KR (a), Cas (h), Catalans (a), Leeds (h).
Catalans.10th. Played 15. Points 10. Widnes (h), Hudds (a), Leeds (a), Cas (h), Wakefield (a), Wire (a), Salford (h), Wigan (a).

Thoughts? 4 wins could do it for us but where are they going to come from?

To be honest, a good second half would please me ... we're fragile once we go behind. So, to answer the question, I do not know.

I think we can chalk-off Hull, Cas, Leeds, and Wire. Which leaves us with Widnes, HKR, and Catalans. Two of which are away from home. Tough run in for us...

We need to turn our form around to have a chance to win any. But... Hull and Leeds are both struggling with injuries, both don’t have the luxury of a week off this week, we’d need to improve but potentially they are winnable games.

No chance I'm afraid, we've blown it by losing to Catalans and Huddersfield. Widnes at home is the only one I can see us winning - 2 points won't be anywhere near enough to get us back in the top 8. Best we can hope for is 9th or 10th, and hence 4 home games in the Middle 8s.

No chance I'm afraid, we've blown it by losing to Catalans and Huddersfield. Widnes at home is the only one I can see us winning - 2 points won't be anywhere near enough to get us back in the top 8. Best we can hope for is 9th or 10th, and hence 4 home games in the Middle 8s. This.. Hudds and Catalans defeats will have cost us a top 8. Honestly can't see where our next win comes from unless things change sharpish. All the teams at the bottom seem to have had a boost and now Widnes have rid of Betts, you can bet your life they will!! |

Let’s see how we fare after a week off. If the team comes back firing and the pack are back on their early season form then there is some hope as a few of those games would have looked winnable after the Wakey game.
If next week the current form continues then we’ve no chance basically. I wouldn’t even back a win over Widnes. Carry that form into the middle 8s and I’d be genuinely worried that we wouldn’t make the MPG.
Let’s see next week.

I reckon away at Catalans Could be the Big Need to win game. I'm definitely not Looking forward to The Saturday night/ Sunday Morning in Lloret del mar after the match for various reasons IE: Hot Weather Cheap Booze Inevitable Fancy dress as is Tradition for the last Away game of the Regular season. |
