For those of you who have purchased the Magic shirt, I noticed at Leigh that many supporters were lucky enough to have received them and they look really good, however I have not yet received mine so went onto the Steeden website in an effort to get some contact. Unfortunately the contact page has no details on it and I have had no response via the email address (sales@advantagesport.net) which was on the sales receipt email invoice.
I contacted the club, only to be told by a nice lady on reception that the shirts are earmarked for release from TODAY..i asked her about fans wearing them already and she couldn't assist.
She was very critical of the set up re the purchase of replica shirts and said they`d had loads of calls complaining.
The annoying thing is and I know its not the receptionist`s fault, but the club shop is advertised through the clubs site, yet they take no responsibility and just fob you off to Steeden. She did give me a telephone number of 01482216151, but again she said "you`ll be lucky if they pick up"
I tried it and guess what....pre recorded message saying thanks for calling and then cut off.
Anyone else had the same experience?
