...we will be sitting 6th in the table with 3 games to go. Our points difference (which is still positive!) would mean that we leapfrog both Cas and Wakefield.
I know it's a big IF, but supposing we get them reinstated do you think we will stay in the Top 8? Warrington (A), Widnes (A) and Hull FC (H) are the 3 remaining games.

It's a tough one.
I'd like to think that if we got the points back then the players mentality would sky rocket and consequently their attitude and play would rise too. Wire away will be a struggle, Widnes away will be a possibility. The Hull game could be interesting. They could rest a few guys with the split around the corner.
A lot of what ifs there though...

Good to see that the club is laying on free travel for supporters going to the Warrington game - will hopefully be a healthy following, buoyed by getting the six points back!

Reckon at best we might get a couple of points back, how they will justify it is a different matter. Hypothetically if we did get them back I think all 3 games are winnable, Warrington might have half an eye to the CC game the week after, think Widnes are floundering and Hull will hopefully have taken their feet off the peddles by then. But it's Salford so three loses it is

Should add that if the Doc has a brain fart in the hearing I expect the 6 points to become 12

i was feeling relatively confident up until the good doctor said he would be fronting the appeal. Somebody should strongly advise him to take a seat on such a precarious issue. That said I think we will lose at wire, beat Widnes and I have a feeling if its all buttoned up for Hull they will field a slightly weakened side last game. Lest hope they win there next two and the teams around them drop points so the Salford game is a formality.

I think there will be no points reinstated and we'll have to just suck it up!

I think there will be no points reinstated and we'll have to just suck it up! That is my gut feeling too. Either that, or we will get 2 back and then get them deducted for the crowd trouble at Huddersfield! I hope MK doesn't walk away from the club if he doesn't get the desired outcome.

I would not expect our governing body to 'put us out ' in a Urological way if we were on fire.
expect nothing an there will be no disappointment.

That's a good point, are the RL actually bound to observe the decision this week or can they challenge also? The problem being the lack of time before the top/bottom split and anything other teams might come up with if there is a change of mind.

I think we will have all 6 points reinstated and the RFL will accept the decision. There will be reference to a misunderstanding,or new evidence coming to light. The RFL will not appeal. They will change the head of the old 'independent ' judiciary, who is probably Nigel Wood's appointee. This medication is wonderful.......

Imagine the uproar if we got the points back? The whole competition would become a farce and the rfl would look rather stupid. No I expect nothing back and a middle 8 dog fight which is a shame as this squad have gone well this year.

And revealing the other club won't do anything but gain a few more enemies for SRD and the Doc.
