I’m not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but our fixtures over the weekend had me thinking.
Why, with the obvious exception of Catalan, are Salford the only club who don’t have a ‘local’ fixture? Some clubs have two. Surely it could have been arranged for us to face one of the Lancashire teams. Instead we get zero away support and a trip to that there Yorkshire to play the SL Champions. A hidden agenda or my paranoia?

On top of that I think 3 of our local derby teams at home are on Sky.
And Warrington on a Saturday when MU v MC and and Liverpool v Everton on the same day.
A conspiracy absolutely.
But last year we had to travel to Catalan!!

It does strike me as being rather less than an accident, we should be playing a Widnes or Warrington this weekend.
I also always struggle to see why it simply can't be you play one home then one away, one home, one away and so on and so forth through the season, to have entire months with no home game in the warmer summer months is insanity an no wonder the club struggles to break even.

An extra three days rest. They played Thursday and Salford travelled all Sunday.
Together with putting fixtures which clash with MU matches, the whole fixture process is a joke. Perhaps LeagueExpress might tzke up our plight.

Both wrong. Last year, Catalans played at Huddersfield on the Wednesday! We played on the Friday and traveled to Perpignan on the Sunday for the game on the Monday.
But yes! It was a farce.

Just noticed also that Widnes get 2 virtual derbys as do Saints.
Can't possibly fair on a team like Salford.
