Yeah it was either McNamara or Stone, from what I'd read it was more likely McNamara but that's obviously wrong now with the confirmed news!

I'd rather do the latter. |

We have a big problem when it comes to replacing a coach. We're an unfashionable club, on its ass financially, with no room to change the playing staff at the wrong end of table. We're not the most attractive proposition in the world...

I agree but what I meant was he deserves the chance to bring a couple of players in rather than his future even being discussed IMO. |

Wood was superb again - his positioning was a little off but you can forgive him that.
Overall - with Flash on the pitch they were very good. With him off they were poor. Desperately need a scrum half to organise things. Some cracking tries though and Wood, Evalds, Flash, Bibby, Lui, Tasi, Jones, Sau all had good games. Just needs some better decision making at times.

Discipline. We let them back into the game through poor discipline. We have got to cut the penalties if we want to give Leeds a game.
However, that aside, it’s nice to get the win and there were some quality tries. Scoreline flattered Catalans.

Bang on. Flash is key to the way we play. You could see the difference when he went off. Some great tries but just missing a bit of organisation, Lui is getting better at that but I’d rather he just played off the cuff. Littlejohn doesn’t look right, let’s give this kid from Wigan a go. Wood is fantastic. If we had a fit Brining and Wood as our hookers that would be formidable. Forwards again showed up big time, although Tasi needs to stop putting stupid hits on people. Just puts us under more pressure. Not expecting anything from Monday, just need to get through injury free and beat the wire. |
