Just talking with another driver who said 7th April should be a bumper day for us as it's the Manchester Derby and potentially one team can win the league.
Just checked and we're scheduled to play Warrington same day 15:15 KO.
Surely to God it's obvious to the board that it's got to be moved?
Traditionally Warrington bring a load so what should be a good crowd I'm sure will be significantly down.

Presumably Sky will have the Derby on so that'll be Sat 12.30 or Sunday?
Is our match v Warrington on Sky on Sat???

The derby is a 17:30 kick off, ours is 15:30, so no way people could get to both if they wanted to. But it does give sky an full afternoon of sport.

But could an after the match screening with food for those Utd fans who can't get s ticket for the match.
Sell it as a double header maybe. What do you think?

It would be good if the VIP bars could maybe be opened up post game for the match. Especially if we could negotiate a cut of the bar takings or get a couple of players to attend etc and turn it into a bit of an event.
I believe however that if Utd or city get a Tuesday European game the following week then the derby reverts to a 1230pm kick off so it could yet end up being before the Salford game.

We paid extra for VIP to be away from you lot on the cheap seats. Last thing thing we want is having the tone lowered by some South Stand oiks! |
