I have long argues that each week the East stand should be filled with the kids of selected different schools, even if a tiny percentage of them return that is a new fan, pretty sure a great many of us older fans are from the Junior Devils scheme at the Willows. A trailer grill kilop? Do you mean a tail gate party like in America? Would be a cracking idea but there would be so many hurdles to clear before you could even contemplate doing it. A few years ago I worked for a large gas and propane company and got the club and them talking about a sponsored (IE the gas for the BBQ would have been gratis) but from what I gather the club decided it wasn't a good idea. I mean what wouldn't be a good idea about an outside BBQ one time with the club getting ALL the profits. Not sure the club will have any say about a pre-match BBQ outside the ground. The vans selling the rubbish outside the ground will pay for their "pitch", probably to the stadium rather than the club. If the fee goes to the stadium, we would have to pay the same fee making it difficult to make much money from it. If the fee is charged by the club, they can not then set up in competition with those paying it. I think this is something we need to know a bit more about from the club so we can decide where best to spend money at the game. I'm pretty sure the stalls selling pies and beer under the stands are franchised by the stadium so the club get nothing from any money spent there. Is it the same in the big tent? Is there anything we spend money on before or during the game that the club makes money from, other than the pop up club shop?

Agree 100%. The club need to tell us how we can support them rather than the stadium company.

The only things we make money from are match programmes, half time draw tickets and merchandise.
It would be good if we could get a group of fans together to sell the half time draw tickets. I believe you get a free ticket for the match if you volunteer. If we could start selling 1000+ of these each game it would be a nice earner for the club over the course of the season for very little outlay.

Hopefully not. But if they get to keep half the money won't they sell them a bit cheaper so that people buy them from their organisation rather than another? I'm picking I know I hope it works . They get half the face value so if they sell a £25 ticket they get £12.50. If they sell it for £20 they get £7.50. They might choose to do that to make some money but incentive is to sell full price to maximise their share that said there’s nothing to stop regular fans buying off their local good cause instead of the club so the club loses half of their income. But if this takes off the good will generated will be huge, the local organisations will become ambassadors for the club and the word of mouth and positive news will be well worth it. I’ve put some friends who are involved with charities in Salford onto it. Hopefully it can build
