Hi all.
I was having a pint in my local and all of a sudden St Helens, England and Great Britain legend Harry Pinner walks in. He played over 300 games for saints, 3 for England and 7 for Great Britain. He's one of only 3 players to score a drop goal for both GB and England - the other two are Bobbie Goulding and Sean Long.
I've asked him if he would do a Q&A for us, which he's agreed to. He was talking to me about the great Salford team of the 80's, in particular Steve Nash and Chris Hesketh. I'd love to find out more about this.
I know we have a quite a number of veteran Salford fans on the site, so if you have any questions please post below.
Turns out Harry is a complete technophobe so I might struggle for an immediate reply!
Thanks.

Bugger, posted a load of questions this morning but mustn't have sent them.
From memory.
When you watch the games now Harry do you still see RL or a different game that it has evolved into.
From your era which rule would benefit the modern game that has changed and which from the modern game would have benefited you back then.
Did you ever get the chance like so many of the other greats of your era get the chance go for a short stint in the NRL and if so why didn't you?
On the same topic who was the best import you played with during your time at Saints.
Which Salford player sticks in the memory most from your time in the game?
Do you still attend Saints games?

Okay! A couple of easy ones for him. What is your best memory of playing against Salford? And your worst? Regarding grounds, thinking as a player, would you prefer the older grounds, eg The Willows, or the newer ones, eg the A.J.Bell? Now the same question, but thinking as a spectator? What is the single moment that stands out in your memory of RL? Finally, can you see GB/England ever beating the Aussies in a meaningful tournament? (other than the occasional, one-off game)

Having checked wikipedia, it seems unlikely that HP played at any of the modern grounds (maybe the JJB as was). Just ask him for his general impressions. Should have checked before posting.
