Bit silly if you ask me to use a 75,000 seater stadium where there is zero RL history, would have been much better getting a 15,000 and moving heaven and earth to get it full.
Denver is a cracking place, bit pricey but some cool stuff to do.

Will it be big enough ? Seriously, why Denver, why such a massive stadium, why not one of the areas in North America where there’s a smidgen of interest. RR is raising his profile noticeably as he pitches for the top job. Don’t blame him . Back to thread, I think taking an international on the road is a good idea but the location looks far too random

Back to thread, I think taking an international on the road is a good idea but the location looks far too random Think the venue is down to being roughly midway across the States meaning both teams have the same (ish) sort of travel distance. Agreed there needs to be an effort in the NE States where the majority of the World Cup games will be played. As an aside I said it when it was announced but marry the various teams playing in the WC with a city and NRL team that has a large ex pat population, the best example being can you imagine the hype is the Wolfhounds were to play in Boston and the Patriots?

If equal distances for both clubs is a factor, then it’s stupid. Promoting a sport requires logic, another reason we need change at the top. I agree that a location like Boston or New York would make more sense

I can see the thinking behind it - had a friend who spent 6 months in Denver and they are all sport/fitness mad. They might take a shine to rugby league you never know!

Hope they don't if they fill a 75000 stadium we'll have no players left if they like it and get a team.

I don't know much about the NFL But I believe Its the Denver Broncos who have a Offensive tackler I believe that's the position A Menelik Watson The Bloke from Levenshulme That played a bit of RL In his Teens ?

He does indeed. He’s got potential but needs a big year after injuries. Seems a decent bloke
