When you watch the NRL now the trend is to play a mobile skillful prop at 13, Gallen and Klemer have both played there this weekend after backing up from SOO and did big minutes.
Appreciate that Flanagan has played well this year and for me he'd stay in the team but playing someone like a Krasniqi or Griffin there and bring in another big bruiser prop or two, adds more go forward option and if Flanagan is still on the pitch doesn't take anything away defensively. Think both Krasniqi and Griffin have the fitness to do the full 80 and have a little pace if there are any breaks to back up down the middle.
Doubt it would work this season as we are without doubt a prop or two light but with the right recruitment for next season for me would be a very good option.

We did this for a bit in 2013 when it had become a thing down under. Adam Neal (twice), Vic Mauro (twice) and Lee Jewitt (once) all started at 13. I suppose it still depends on who you put there.
