Can we do something about these fuckwits that find it acceptable to throw pints at opposition players when we're losing? Having been a long-suffering fan for 30 years I've never known the sort of moronic behaviour that we seem to get in the South Stand these days and there's been plenty of opportunity. There was plenty of **** hurled at opposing players from The Shed at The Willows but not the ridiculous thuggish behaviour from some of the plebs we have "supporting" the club these days. I've known about 3 decent seasons since 1989.... and it's painful supporting a team that continually pisses on your bonfire. We're already laughed at by the majority of SL fans and the media so let's not give the RFL any more reason to crucify us eh? Chucking your overpriced pint of piss at Dom Sutton does nothing but drag us into the gutter and us as fans need to stop it happening. If you know who it is doing it, give them a slap and have a word. If you don't know them, point them out to the stewards and let the club deal with them. Rant over.... bring on Wakey!  |

Couldn’t agree more mate. The south stand is unfortunately home to quite a few mouth breathing idiots who feel it’s acceptable to chuck a pint at a player because we’re getting beat. To be fair, everyone around me was fuming that a pint was thrown and were calling for him to be ejected. Like you said, we’re already a laughing stock to the rest of the league so we don’t need to add any fuel to that fire.
Oh and while we’re at it...
Can our fans (particularly in south stand) please stop blaming the ref for absolutely EVERYTHING. The ref doesn’t knock on, hold down, pass it forward, fail to deal with kicks, jump out of the line etc etc. It’s embarrasing.

The lad who threw the pint at Sutton was stood next to me. One of our fans gave him a bollocking and he scarpered. Absolute disgrace to be doing stuff like that.

Just said on another thread it's time we pointed this type of moron out to the stewards and try to have them banned, we simply don't need the threat of fines, or points deductions that they can bring with them.

Think we have to agree that the standard of referees is shocking, they seem hell bent on being center of attention at the merest sniff of a camera and each week seem to interpret the same rules in different ways.
