Don't think people are critisising Bibby more pointing out that he isn't the type of player a SL team with ambitions has as a starting back, I'd take him (and others like him) for the squad but not a week in week out starting 13 type.

I don't think Welham is good enough either.

I don't think Welham is good enough either. He was more than good enough the first 1/2 of last season but sadly not the second 1/2 (like most of the squad). Hopefully he starts this season how he started last. You don’t become a bad player over night.

Don't forget Welham, Griffin and a no of others had to play on with injuries at the end of last season and Bibby did a lot for his first season. Let's just see.

Really hope Bibby proves me wrong. Re Welham - very suspect in defence but hope he can rekindle the partnership him and Johnson had at start of last season.

Evalds Bibby Sau Welham Johnson Lui O'Brien Tasi Tomkins Burgess Hauraki Jones Flanagan Subs Koppy Mossop Littlejohn McCarthy I’d go with that except I’d leave Littlejohn out for now and have Wood on the bench. Thought he went well in the friendlies and was good last season when he played at 9. Think that might be Watson does too. He hasn’t used McCarthy at hooker in the friendlies so I suspect Wood will get the nod other option would be play Jones at centre instead of Welham and bring Griffin in or Evalds on wing instead of Bibby, GOB to FB and Littkejohn in halves.
