Manu has sustained a suspected serious achilles injury in training and the club are awaiting results of a scan to determine the extent of the damages.
Who will replace Manu on the wing? Bibby, Evalds or Olpherts?

Gutted as despite my initial worries on his motivation he impressed hugely last year.
A more important question is who replaces the replacement, the law of sod has decreed we've lost a back when it's the forward we are top heavy in, I can see an earlier than expected delve into the loan market.
As the club are already saying it's a serious injury you wonder if they already know it's a season ending one, as he is the age he is wonder if that might mean he's finished and if so will the club go for another import of the same caliber on the same wages?

Shame for Manu. While I think he is probably past it he's still a proper pro and gives his all. Good for the fringe players to make a name for themselves...

Gutted, was looking forward to seeing him go this season. Thought he gave some good forward runs at the wire friendly. Hopefully it’s not too bad.
But fair play to the club for getting this out so quick, looks like they are trying to be inclusive in all aspects

Absolutely gutted. Was really looking forward to seeing him play a full season in a red shirt but it sounds like we won’t see him again. Although not the player he once was, he is still a massive threat and was I’m sure going to be a major part of our attack this year. It’s now up to Olpherts to take his chance, let’s get behind the lad. We definitely need to look at another winger or centre on loan though, the injuries have already started 😩

Seems like a nice guy but Definitely a Koucash signings. If long term, he needs his contract paying up and getting rid of as has proved another expensive mistake.

Not as bad as soon people make out but am sure they would have liked another one. Manu always worries me under high kicks, so at least with olpherts/evalds is feel more secure |

Seriously if sau gets injured we're trully screwed. |

We don't have cover in the backs as we do in the forwards, we don't even have any other 2nd row than JJ who can cover in the centres. This is when you see the folly of teams dropping the academy set ups, I can see us going cap in hand to Wigan already looking for a fringe player to help us out.
