Even I believe the RFL have it in for SRD now! And I've never believed tales of conspiracy!

The RFL have confirmed that Salford have been charged, after crowd trouble occurred at the end of their away fixture against Huddersfield on March 28.
Some Red Devils players and supporters were pictured that day struggling with each other in the stands, as ugly scenes marred the game.
An RFL statement reads:
"The charges relate to a breach of Operational Rule B1.5 (misconduct of spectators) and D1.1(b) (improper conduct).
"Rule B1.5 states that clubs are 'responsible for the actions of its directors, players, officials, employees, representatives, spectators and all persons purporting to be its supporters and are required to use its Best Endeavours to take all precautions necessary to ensure that they do not act unlawfully and to prevent directors, players, officials, employees, representatives, spectators and all persons purporting to be its supporters from threatening, abusing or assaulting directors, officials, players, spectators, safety staff.'
"Clubs must also ensure that 'their spectators, or people purporting to be their supporters, do not act in a disorderly or improper manner either at its ground or at the ground of an opponent or at a neutral venue before, during or after the conclusion of Matches or otherwise behaving in an unruly or unlawful manner or in a manner which is prejudicial to the Game or amounts to improper conduct.'
"Rule D1.1 (b) states 'conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game/improper conduct;'"
The case has been referred to an independent tribunal. A hearing date will set be set for late June or early July.

Yes I saw this but what do you reckon? I'll ask MK about it later. Widnes got a £20k fine for their crowd trouble last season, so I can't see any reason why we would get anything different to that...

Have Huddersfield been charged?
And I asked what you think?
Yes I'm interested in what MK has to say too.

No idea if Huddersfield have been charged. Me personally; I think we have to accept a proportion of the blame but not all of it.

Why have none of the instigators been charged with anything?
Can't understand from that if the club has been charged because the players got involved? If so would hope not as they were doing what any self respecting partner/parent would have done and protected their loved ones.

If so would hope not as they were doing what any self respecting partner/parent would have done and protected their loved ones. I posted this on Love RL how can an away team, with no stewards, no influence or control over the stadium, no influence over the security system, be charged under these particular rules? Haven't the club dealt with this exactly as you'd expect? Those from Salford have been dealt with as far as I understand it. Is there any suggestion that the club some how failed in it's duty of care in this matter? Is there evidence that they were lacking in their due diligence and actions? If SRD have been singled out what did the Giants do about it? To be honest a fine wouldn't bother me so much as further charges and another chuffing hearing! Wait for another line of MK bashers blaming him for the violence!

Have now heard it's about the player's involvement, now they're just taking the mickey!
They're out for MK that's all, just a silly vendetta! The RFL bringing the game into disrepute! Who watches the watchers?
