I heard rumblings that it may be early May, but I can't remember where I heard it or if it has any merit. He's certainly raring to go.

I'm pleased were not rushing him back, remember the Salford of old with Kevin Locke? This says to me we have the right structures in place...

I personally can't wait to see him in action, if Carney is going we've got as good if not better replacement.
As I mentioned earlier we are getting thin on the ground but this is one area we have had more than ample coverage, imagine if it'd been last season we'd have been playing the Walnes on the wing.

We have no idea what this guy will be like, so to say he's better than Carney is wrong

We have no idea what this guy will be like, so to say he's better than Carney is wrong Well you're right in so much as we haven't seen him play in a Salford shirt, but anyone who's watched the NRL for any length of time will tell you how good Vidot is. The Brisbane fans called him 'The Metre eater' and for good reason, as he's particularly difficult to put down. I'm not saying either player is better, in an ideal world we'd have both, but if Carney does go Vidot will fill the shoes comfortably. I'm confident of that.

In an ideal world he would be nearly back and give him a run out in the CC, it's situations like this where the lack of a reserve comp looks even more bewildering.
I think when he comes back we'll see him used in the middle a bit, not as a prop but with him size and speed he's going to cause mayhem in the latter stages of a game when the reduction in interchanges starts to take its toll.
It's a bit of a gripe but he seems to be woefully underused by the club, he is a big name signing who isn't playing so should be rolled out pre game meeting the fans, heading into schools and generally earning his crust.

To be fair he has been out and about. He's been to a few amateur clubs and at least 2 schools that I've seen. He's hardly a household name, even to RL fans I'm looking toward to seeing him play. Never really saw him in NRL that I remember I just hope expectations are kept reasonable

Really looking forward to 'The Meter Eater's' debut. When him and Carney are both fit for us it's going to cause the opposition defences a whole lot of problems when we are coming out of our own half.
Hopefully they'll both be good to go when we are still in Challenge Cup because with a fully fit squad there's no reason why we can't make a push for a trip to Wembley.

Hopefully we can see this kind skill when he comes back...

He looked fit and well to me at Hunslet last weekend.
Can't be long to wait for his debut now surely..

There was a picture of him on antisocial media this week at the Trafford Centre driving range so you'd think with the injury he's had if he can swing his golf bat he's getting mighty close. When our backline's is scoring as many points as they are it's going to be interested to see which 5 we perm from Evalds, Jones, Griffin, Sau, Johnson and Carney.

According to @redarmysalford on Twitter it's rumoured that Daniel Vidot might be making his debut this weekend. Anyone heard anything definite? With Carney the SL metre maker on one wing and Vidot on the other it should get us motoring up the pitch.

I hope he is fit as he is a player I'm looking forward to seeing, but there's no need to drop Evalds, Vidot should start on the bench and bring him on rather than dropping a player who hasn't really done much wrong.
