We didn't do the pre-match launch thing but IB was in the tunnel for most of the match. He had quite a serious looking chat with Watto at the commencement of the 2nd half. Neither party looked particularly happy. Dunno what that was about, probably something and nothing. Liked the camaraderie on the sidelines yesterday though with players and staff, all seemed to be enjoying themselves on and off the pitch. Was good to see.

New signing and new kit supplier announced today. 12pm for the player, not sure if the kit is at the same time... Will it be this Fijian chap do we think?

Little tidbit from Twitter just now with Gaz Carvell revealing he will not be in the employ of Salford from December. Hasn't expanded on it so not sure whether his decision or the new board / Koukash but possibly further indication of cost cutting..?

Agree entirely with this bit and had a conversation with my dad along the very same lines on Saturday at Salford FC v York. Utterly futile to dress it up any other way than we can't afford to compete in SL without the Koukash money. We'll never fill the AJ Bell because of location (I'm used to it now after 5yrs - others will NEVER give it a chance). So lets bite the bullet and recalibrate at Championship level playing out of a smaller ground like Moor Lane - 5000 capacity when complete - or really chomp hard down on it and look at the Agecroft plans with Swinton and Moorside Rangers. Go semi-pro if it ensures survival of the club. It's supposed to be fun following your team, Salford and Super League is such a chore 75% of the time.
Of course, scrub all of the above if Fred Done fancies bankrolling us!

If unsure on getting a season ticket due to lack of clarity in the off season, don't pay it in full and take the Direct Debit option. Think it still shows up as a full ST holder in the books. If it all goes pear shaped this side of Xmas, simply cancel the direct debit. Not much harm done and minimal risk. If it's all hunky-dory by Jan, bung the rest of the dosh on upfront. That's my plan anyway.

Picture of the old town hall at Bexley Square on the TrustSalford twitter account. Quite close to where BetFred is very active at the minute, construction wise.

Yeah Reality TV. He'll probably say it's Sky 1 but will dribble out like a fart around midnight on Spike+1.

Shambles down the ticket office (when you can actually get through). If you was in the West Stand Value last season, ticket prices are NOT frozen for you. You can pay more to stand in the South Stand than you did to sit last year or you can renew your seats for A LOT more than you did last year. I have politely informed them what they can do with this 'fantastic offer' and will be picking and choosing my games. Garbage.

Another slice of doom that hasn't been factored in vis-à-vis the potentially horrific attendance on Saturday v Huddersfield is Salford City FC also at home on Saturday at 3pm. I've got a foot in both camps with STs for both and with crowds over 2000 at Moor Lane now a regular occurrence (also spotted Salford Rugby gear in the crowd)it's another pull away from the AJ Bell for some. I've not 100% made my mind up yet as to which ground I'll frequent on Saturday. If you'd asked me last Friday at 9.50pm I'd be adamant I wasn't setting foot in the AJ Bell again this season. However, deep breaths and an absence of alcohol since Saturday means I'll probably be back up Barton way to see if we're anywhere near as bad as the last 10 weeks has had us believe. United v Stoke in St Mikes at 5.30pm also. Yeah sod it, I'll be back on Saturday (for my sins).

Testimonial match for a Millionaire!! Hope he's going to spurt some of his Sizeable £ Wads with a Charity or two . It's not the Same bloke who use to play Guitar in Mile and the Mechanics ? Interesting fact - Paul Carrack played piano on The Smiths 'Reel Around The Fountain' off the first LP.
Well, I reckon it's interesting anyway.
