Brilliant day yesterday despite the result and the blind linesman. Best performance of the season, players definitely lifted by the crowd. Thought the fans being split over 3 stands worked really well definitely improved the atmosphere in my opinion. I hope they stick with it but probably won't due to costs. Roll on Thursday Totally agree re the crowd we said this, made the stadium feel fuller rather than everyone clumped together in the middle of the West stand and gave a good atmosphere. Only down side you dont get your preferred seat / view, but a small price to pay just to get back impo.

4 Mill for Gigg Lane never in a month of Sundays is it going to happen, it'll prob need a mill to get it back to match day safety standards.
Someone mentioned the Agecroft stadium yesterday, I know the two clubs haven't a pot to piss in, but what about a Salford / Swinton / council (once they've offloaded the AJBell) joint venture?
Pie in the sky, I am a dreamer.....

Unfortunately...I believe its a done deal....we are being kicked out of A J Bell. Only option really is Moor Lane....If its Gigg Lane then I`m afraid the nail will be firmly placed in the coffin Isn't Moor lane too small for SL by their criteria? Gigg lane is ideal for us with the exception that it isn't in Salford. I think some difficult decisions lie ahead for the club and its fans. The criteria for replacing Toronto was average 2k attendance, 5k minimum capacity stadia, but not sure if these were laxed for the short notice of getting a replacement in. Peninsula is 5,100 but doesn't have much infrastructure, so not sure it meets "all criteria". Then again didn't Toronto play on a fenced off school field at one point.

Not acceptable to ‘Superleague The criteria for replacing Toronto was average 2k attendance, 5k minimum capacity stadia. Peninsula is 5,100, imagine the atmosphere. Also how can the club be preparing their own bid when we cannot even afford thd current rent?

We extended him because he was in the Dream Team and won us games by scoring tries and kicking tough goals Let's hope he does it again this year then

1. Escare 2. Inu 3. Watkins 4. Sarginson 5. Burgess 6. Lolehea 7. Brown 8. Mossop 9. Ackers 10. Lussick 11. Livett 12. Greenwood 13. Taylor
14. Patton 15. Seb 16. Wells 17. Pauli
I've put Inu in as you can't look past how good he was last season, but I still find it a strange one we extended him with so many decent wingers in the squad. Williams and Sio would've have been in any day of the week.

Have we got a new strength and conditioner yet? As shown the last few seasons with such a small squad it's been a crucial position. Or are we going for a larger squad and taken an additional coach on instead, personally I still think it's a critical role that needs filling.

Escare Burgess Watkins Sarginson Williams Tui Brown Mossop Levi or Ackers PP Wells Greenwood Taylor
Ackers or Addy Ika Livett Burke
Edit: just seen Inu has re-signed, good player but strange one for me as we're overloaded with 3/4s, when we need a hooker and prop, must have plenty of room left?

That profit roughly tallies with what I think the grand final run was worth to us. Leeds were finishing their stadium renovations so that should account for their loss. Seems fair. I'm wondering how Hudds has come out on top? The two teams with the smallest crowds post the largest profits. That's bound to wind-up a few opposition fans! Think I recall Paul King stating something along the lines of Salford cut their cloth accordingly, we have small crowds so do not factor the income in as much as the bigger clubs who rely on 8-10k fans through the gate every other week.

Yates did sign an extension to his contract - it was announced the same day as Mossop signing his... Thought I'd seen it, but I'm not sure what ive done / seen in covid 2020 to be honest, been a bit of a blur.
