Up to £4,300.00 now and if we all put a donation in then hopefully it will help. Just think how devastated we'd all feel if there was no more Salford.
Even a small donation could make the difference to our plight.

He Talks the Talk let's hope he can Walk the Walk. Certainly sounds like he wants to be here for a challenge. Hopefully with him & Rob Lui pulling the strings we can get the results we need to stay up. Let's hope we can get some of the wounded back on the pitch for the playoffs

Can't say I blame him after some of the abuse he got from the Salford Numpties last year. Unfortunately he's just the type of player we're missing at the moment.

Superb interview and came across really well. It also highlighted how we're competing on an uneven playing field due to lack of numbers. One thing that really came out of it for me is we as fans have our part to play. So lets all get behind the boys and support them no matter what

Leaving Koppy, Mossop and Flanagan out . We're a lot weaker in the pack and signals Watson's intentions for today On Friday when these three were on the field we were far stronger

I've never ever seen us get anything at Leeds as long as I've lived. Just one of those fixtures so I'm not expecting much. One win super league and, it turns out, 4 wins since 1945 according to Paul Hulme the Salford fan statto on Twitter one of my first proper away games was at Leeds in, I think, 1989. First time on supporters coach (apart from the semi v Wigan a year or 2 earlier). I think we were something like 24-6 up ended up losing 32-28. Scores might not be exactly right. We looked unbeatable until we were beaten!! Been many games like that since then. And many where we’ve been hammered RUTB I remember that game too. We were well in control at half time and came out in the second half with a game plan. Kick early and chase. Unfortunately the coach forgot to tell the players to tackle as well as chase . In probably 20 visits to Headingley that's the closest I've been to seeing them win.

If we could get Matty Smith back on loan for the season it would resolve two issues. One the goal kicking and two the organisation in attack.
LittleJohn can learn from him while he's here.

For me last night was a vast improvement on the Wigan game. We played as a real team and the team spirit was there for everyone to see. This was epitomised when Wakey got a clean break and we somehow managed to scramble back. I thought the forwards did really well against a massive Wakefield pack which prevented their backline getting many chances. We made far fewer mistakes and were better organised than last week. I think Jack Littlejohn and Ben N. will improve and blend into a stable team which will help us in the upcoming games. When Flash gets back into the team we will improve both offensively and in defence. For me he is the glue of our team.
As for the officiating on the Fifita foot in touch that was appalling. It was that obvious that Eddie mentioned it and it's mentioned in all the reports. Why no referral when Child went for most incidents on how to restart the game?

Last night wasn't just about how poor Welham and Johnson are. We have a distinct lack of pace in the backline and it reminds me of a few years ago when Noble was in charge. Last night it was a case of 3 or 4 Wigan attackers on Welham & Johnson. It doesn't mater how good you are, two against 3 or 4 are never going to win especially when the opposition have so much pace. As an observer last night I knew exactly when Wigan were going to switch the ball to the left edges. Why couldn't the team? Last night we dropped the ball about 6 times in attack and 3 or 4 times coming away from our own line. It's those unforced errors that lost us the game. You can't invite a team like Wigan to attack you without making the hard yards first. Dobbo's loss was so evident last night too. We didn't make the correct plays at the right time or control the pace of the game. If we don't address lack of pace, errors and game management we're in the bottom four.

Really Sad that a loyal and very good Rugby Player for our great club can end up in such a bad way. Hopefully he can get some help and sort himself out.

Leigh sign another couple, that's about 10 (MK joined his MATE?) but we've got a pop up cinema!
They deny it but it's pretty bleeding obvious if you ask me, why didn't Leigh have this sort of recruitment drive when they got to SL in the first place? Stinks to high heaven, more faces than the town hall clock has MK. I've been saying for a few weeks now that the way Leigh are recruiting I wouldn't be surprised if they have been told they're going to be in Super League this year. The recruitment is excessive for the championship and how are they convincing these players to come to Leigh if they're going to be in the lower league. I'm not saying it's true but it appears a bit fishy to me.

I actually think Child's officiating was influenced by the fact Saints had something to play for last night and we didn't. Yes he made some correct calls but it was the imbalance, inconsistency and timing of those decisions that helped influence the outcome of a game. Some of those back to back penalties were very pedantic calls in my opinion. Furthermore what was the difference between the Walmsley and the Watts elbow incidents recently? I honestly don't know and I think the decision not to send him off was based on Walmsley being a high profile 'English SL player' missing a potential semi-final. Putting him on report was simply a cop out by James Child based on emotion. It was the wrong decision based on a similar incident recently but he's human and were all influenced by emotion. The question for me is why did he put the incident on report? If it was for a suspect elbow why was there no penalty for Salford? That incident, Wlamsleys elbow to the head swung what should have been a one man advantage to Salford the other way round. Child picked up on so many minor incidents but missed a massive call. In all other Sky games this season when there's such an incident the fourth official advises the referee of the severity and he takes action. Not in this case, why? I think the part that galls me the most is the one sided refereeing this year. When two teams are effectively doing the same things lying on, slowing down the play the balls, offside etc and only one team are penalised. I think it was 9 or 10 penalties to one last night at half time. How can any side compete when it's an uneven playing field. Answer they can't. I'd also like to say that the lads fought valiantly last night in spite of the one sided refereeing. Well done.

Takes me back a few years does that strip. Had a few mavericks playing for us in those days, Gibbo, Teflon Tex etc. Really enjoyed going to the rugby in those days. Maybe not the best team but we had real characters and team players.
