Spent the evening with someone (please don't ask me to name names), but it was someone who was very connected to the club and what I was told last night ASTOUNDED ME. The debt and general running of the club is unreal I couldn't believe my ears. Vickers.....jesus christ. Can't say anymore tho I'd like to, anyone wants a beer or hook up next season I'll tell you how fucked our club is/was it's beyond farcical. One good point they are trying to turn it round but wow.

That bad? I think it's clear that there's a lot going on behind the scenes but I hope it doesn't put the clubs immediate future in jeopardy.
Always up for a beer. I'm not sure where other DevilTalk members live but Winton/Eccles is good for me.

Haha I will send you a photo pal it's top! Going back to the subject I was in sensed how a certain individual has shafted the club good n proper. I sat there for half an hour jaw on table. Incredible.

Is it still going on or are things being turned around?
If you take the points deduction out of the scenario we have seen a vast improvement on / off the field, haven't we?
I know current playing staff won't usually slag the club off until they've depart, but when you speak with likes of Carney and Burgess they say it's a good club to be at with great back room staff or are we just talking about the administration of the club?

when dr BS came out and said the rfl was run like a car boot it made me laugh, pot/kettle sprung to mind. the way salfords been run for the past few years has been farcicle, id love to see dr BS busisness plan, my guess it was done in crayon if at all.

Another point I've just remembered, TS left salford because when he confronted MK about next year, he was told MK didn't want to stay on, that uncertainty then forced his hand.

That is what I suspected with Sheens, think it will be a costly error on the Docs part to let him go and to let him without replacing him.

Another point I've just remembered, TS left salford because when he confronted MK about next year, he was told MK didn't want to stay on, that uncertainty then forced his hand. Marwan has said they had a gentleman's agreement that if he was offered a head coaches job he wouldn't stand in his way. He was offered the job at Hull KR and he took it. I don't see it having anything to do with MK staying or going. I'm sure Sheens didn't think he'd be coaching in the championship though. At least he won't be poaching some of the good signings he made whilst at Salford. Which was my concern when I heard he was leaving for the other side of the hills |
