As long as the issue is put to bed so we can get on with things, regardless of the outcome.

Each party is going to look a tit, if they lose. That was my point about technical breach. I suspect the rules say it's black or its white. Unless it's their mistake........ My best guess is that we're found guilty but forfeit changed to 4 points. No reason ,just a hunch.

I think an independent body would look any possible supply of false evidence very badly, when the Doc said they had not given accurate details in the first hearing if he had proof that could be very damning to the RFL.
Think the most likely outcome is finding some middle ground, even if the points reduction got halves that would have a significant effect on our top 8 ambitions.
A scenario if they find totally in the clubs favour is that the Doc pursues damages, could argue that the points reduction hampered the squads performance and has had a huge effect on the clubs image, distinct possibility it could get incredibly messy.

It's already pretty messy with threats about break away leagues and unsubstaniated claims about other clubs. There was a report today saying the club that MK was referring to is prepared to sue if they are named Hard to see much good coming out of this. The RFL is traditionally very risk averse and d be amazed if they have taken in Koukash without a very strong case. As we know Koukash is not risk averse in fact he tends to be fairly impetuous and acts/speaks without fully thinking things through. I don't want it to be so but I reckon this is only likely to go one way. I hope I'm wrong. If Dr K can prove that our overspending was due to RFL getting player reg things wrong (or something else) then great. If he's relying on what his previous CEO told him I fear for us. From what is in unlicensed domain it is hard to see how we have much of a case. I hope I'm wrong

I think the real problem MK has had with the whole process is that the original judgement is worked-out by those appointed by the RFL to cast judgement in these cases. Those involved are employed/linked to other SL Clubs which casts doubt on a 'fair' judgement because each has vested interests. I'm not saying that they were anything but fair, but the fact that this process throws doubt on honest decisions means that it really shouldn't be used, and an independent tribunal should have been in place from the start.
When you have people linked to the current bottom two clubs casting judgement I think his request has been fair.
As for the RFL having a strong case, we'll not know, but it will be interesting to see the outcome.

Sorry that I don't know how to do links. Don't know if many of you saw the Cas v Wigan game tonight but the Cas tigers face bookers site is in meltdown over thaler and childs disgraceful performance. Lots of posters are now urging us to back Marwan as they are becoming more and more convinced that the RFL are bent. Not sure I agree myself about the RFL but there was some thing very fishy with Thaler and Child. Check out Thalers wink to Bateman after he penalises Cas even though Bateman slaps Milner on the floor. I get the feeling that against all odds the groundswell of most fans is starting to swing Marwans way.

Of course the RFL are not bent, and facebookers and meltdown are about as newsworthy as rain in the Lake District! MK talks a lot of sense and only the way RL works has gone against him. The treatment he's got since saving the club has been awful. There is no way it will swing MK's way, everything is too far gone for that to happen!

Does anyone know when the hearing is going to be?
Has to be before the top 8 split is made, though being the RFL they might just cancel it this year anyway as their chosen team sorry Leeds are languishing at the foot of the table.
