Weāve now got a stadium that says āSalford City Redsā with a picture of a devil on it, and a club badge that says āSalford Red Devilsā with a picture of a tree on it. God I love Salford hahaha |

I like it. A lot. But I do have a quibble. And that is, when I see the Salford shirt in the golden era of the mid 70s, Watkins, Fielding, Charlton etc etc, the red was a different colour of red. I would love that colour of red to come back.

There's a link on the club site to the off field clothing, all rather disappointingly generic though a couple of nice things, won't be buying until they have actual pictures rather than computer generated images though. Any idea when the away kit is being launched?
Do hope for a different design to the home one, makes it more likely I'd buy both.

Launched Friday 8am, the way they're building up to it suggests this year it will actually be something different to the home shirt. I reckon it will be white this year by the sound of it. |

I've said this for the last couple of seasons but I think a cracking idea for an away kit would be the clubs original colours and used on the centenary kit in 1979 v Widnes black, red and amber.  ![]() |
