I don’t know about a charade, and I’m probably missing something. I was more fed up initially than I am now because he’s still tweeting etc. I can’t see that, with the debt,he can possibly offload it. I don’t think the bulk of the debt is owed to MK anyway,I think it’s residual from the JW years but can’t be certain of this. If he was walking away I think he would have simply let the club go bust and it’s to his credit that he hasn’t. So,not a charade but do I think he’ll still be pulling the strings, yes I do. But your guess is certainly as good as mine

He might let the club fail without him at the helm, then he leaves with some form of dignity in tact.

I think it's safe to assume a decent chunk of it is director's loans from Koukash. The accounts at end-2014 show he'd put £1.4m in at that point with net liabilities of £5m, and presumably he's the only one daft enough to have sunk a further £3m in over the next two years? The 2016 abbreviated accounts state quite clearly that the company only remained a going concern due to the support from Koukash. I'm no accountant mind, so don't fully understand the ins and outs of it all.

I think when the club comes clean, this is where we start, knowing what the financial position is.

...knowing what the financial position is. In a word, fucked.

What about the tv interview where he got all emotional about his lad being upset about him leaving, and about him hoping the fans accept him back in? Why would he be concerned if he wasn’t leaving? I’m confused tbh, but I’m not really bothered I want us to be secure but I don’t want his circus again overshadowing everything. If he’s going to sit at the back and give money fair play. Something tells me that won’t happen though Which interview was this? I think if we're honest if he left the running to Blease and didn't crave and hog the limelight he'd fair much better and be see more as the saviour he wants to be rather than the pariah he became. The interview I think was on itv, but it could have been bbc, was just after the announcement: I agree with the rest of your post

Ok,my six pennyworth. I’m guessing but I called the lack of name change correctly so I’m on a roll. I bet he’s not going anywhere. The Trust won’t be a Trust in the strictly legal sense,in that he won’t be losing ownership. He will still own it,which is a good thing. The board of trustees or whatever he calls these puppets will be the butcher, baker and candlestick maker. Not a financial heavyweight in sight. If I’m right,I’m delighted he’s still around,as the alternative is oblivion The name change would have happened if the fans didn’t stand up and stop it. You may be right on the trust etc, there is always that nagging doubt. However, I’m sure i’ll regret, it but i’ll give him the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. I’m sure he’ll sleep better knowing that

Well. I am here like a few more Salford fans, I have entered the Euro lottery for tonight, like a few more Salford fans. If I win then we are saved, I would buy the club all our problems would be solved. Fingers crossed everyone

I think it depends on when the different payments to the old creditors from the Wilkinson era come on stream. Anyway, the bottom line is that we don’t know for certain and, whatever jiggerypokery might exist,we still have a team for 2018 so I’ll back off this topic.

There's very little to disagree with? Koukash's £1.4m directors loan account at 31/1/14 is in black and white, with net liabilities having risen by c.£3m in the 2 years accounts since, which may or may not be further directors loans. Not sure what you mean by creditors 'coming on stream'.

WA Today takes MK front runner to buy Gold Coast Titans. Maybe that's the link up with the NRL side he's promised a couple of times. Think they'll enjoy the water park and TV chanel when they come visiting.

I am disappointed by any lack of clarity inside or outside the club which I find concerning.
