Amazing the internal disciplinary issues in RL in Auss and here. Hardacre dropped by Cas for the final.

Amazing the internal disciplinary issues in RL in Auss and here. Hardacre dropped by Cas for the final. Hardaker has apparently been giving inside information to the Leeds players ahead of the Final, but also heard that its because he failed a drugs test. Who knows! Unbelievable if either of those rumours turn out to be true.

As this been confirmed that he is also no longer a Salford player, if so it seems very convenient to get rid, I don't buy it, it seems to me, use the back door to justify the club unloading players. We’ve had a few days of conspiracy theories so why not let the dust settle and give them the benefit of the doubt, for a moment. Tasi came back with the drink allegation hanging over him as indeed it had before he left us first time. I'm willing to accept him going ,at face value and TC was never going to be offered an extension, justified by his sub standard performances. Tbh I'm not surprised it's drink related. I saw Tasi & TC getting sh1t faced on The Quays on a Tuesday night a few weeks back. Didn't say anything on here at the time as wasn't sure what the club had agreed with him with his season being over due to injury. I'm not one for spreading rumours either but it was clear Lama & TC weren't out for a "quick half". Sad thing is he does seem like a really genuine guy but I guess the temptation for a few bevvies was too much with him being unfit to train and having too much time on his hands.

It's been a long time since the drinking culture in RL was acceptable. In a game where everything you do physically is monitored and studied so as to squeeze as much out of you as possible, drinking simply inhibits your output. If an athlete is serious, it's something they simply cannot do.

Sadly Tasi had finished his season, although still being paid, and I understand was bunked up with Todd C who seemed to have had his drink issues in France. Probably an explosion waiting to happen.
The RL and Salford have put great emphasis on solving the depression and other issues when players get down or retire.
I just wonder in the Tasi and the Justin Carney cases what help and support was around. When Flower was involved in the awful incident at the Grand Final he was given lots of rehab to help to change. Just a thought and we'll never probably know.
Be interesting to see what happens to Hardacre.

If Tasi and Carney were bunked up together you have to question the ability of whoever decides these things. Both were signed on the proviso that they didn't mess-up, specifically with drink. So someone at the club then decides to put them together in a flat...
You couldn't make it up.

Iunderstand that was the case but I just don't understand the two sides, one of the club and RL talking about all the help needed and the other of, what seems, strict discipline without help.

Yet another case of the club doing the profoundly imbecilic and not fully understanding it.
Sorry but if they have been together the club should not be releasing him but should be trying to help him back onto the straight and narrow, I can though see that if he was out having a few beers following a season ending injury that there's not as much of an issue (was he suspected of drinking prior to that injury?), you have to allow people relaxation and down time.
