ok i may have gone overboard a bit but im just fed up off him. The club was becoming a laughing stock because of him Players suing the club Breaking the Salary Cap (which almost cost us our super league status) Fake promises like a shop in the Lowery Centre Threatening the fans before the Hull game on sky about the name change. The guy was more interested in getting under the RFL skin than running our club. He announces the signing before the club does. Id always be grateful for him saving our club but i think from day one hes made it all about himself. like the interview the other night on Granada, hes in a reality Television show now, its stupid. I just want the Salford public to prove him wrong now after slagging off our fans for not attending. Now I wondered why I could never warm to the fellow! Thank you for the ride MK?

Can someone explain what the Supporters' Trust is at the moment? Does it needs a relaunch because it's been dormant, or because it's thought that there should be more exposure, or because it needs fresh impetus? Does it have anything to do with Forever Reds?
I've had a search on t'inter and can find nothing about it. Unlike, say, Wakefield Trinity or Plymouth Argyll, it's not a limited company. Nor could I find anything on the Charity Commisioners' website - unlike, for example, the Salford Red Devils Foundation.
Of course, these questions might be asked at the meeting so I'll try and get there (need to do a lot of work rearranging stuff and heading up the M40, but I'll give it a go), but if anyone knows it might be useful to let us all in on it.

Well guys i was told that in life there are 2 types of people, Players and Spectators. Players do things,, invest time money and effort, get lots of bruises, get some things right and make mistakes but move things forward.
Spectators sit on the side lines, enjoy the things that go right and criticise things that go wrong, shout about how they would do it ( but never do)
Players always enjoy the ride, spectators don't even know they've been on one but they are safe because they never do anything to be criticised about.
(But I was really gutted there was no shop in the Lowry. Wanted to buy a new shirt each week)

What I do know about the supporters Trust is that it is well connected. May I suggest that whoever has the ability to pick up the phone to either IB or Watto does so and reports back at the meeting. All the signs are that we’re in meltdown and,if that’s untrue, someone senior needs to say something, even if it’s off the record

So here you all go again lets restart the supporters club. You can tell the wheels are coming off again, those self riotous koucash haters, will they be feeling happy with themselves today. Start your cosy club again, just another place to have a whinge about the world being against us. Yet the plan was simple, keep supporting the team, try and increase the support and enjoy the ride, but no, people criticise koucash for the way he did things and his apparent way he kicked butt. What will we get now, will it be someone like our previous owner, when talking to the rugby league, they say jump, he replies how high. At least we have 2 Salford lads running the show, but for how long.

Redfan, the way it's going mate, they might be playing again next season.
But in a way you hit the nail on the head. It's seems it's an us and them situation always in this club and if the Club is going to go anywhere we all have put our differences aside and work together. That's how Leeds, Wigan, Hull, even Wakefield do it.
This might be the start. So everyone should turn up and have their say.

You have to pay for them if you want to view the accounts (and no, I can't get you a discount lol)

Sorry a few reasons I wont be going 1st committees don't work, unless you have someone that has the dynamism and passion to push ahead with a common strategy. 2nd I'm on a sunbed in Fuerteventura 3rd john Wilkinson needed the supporters trust because of the clubs financial situation. 4th I think the club now needs a hardnosed business man that does not need any outside committees clouding the issue of keeping this club moving in the right direction After all this the most successful chairmen have not necessarily been popular with the clubs they run ie Lindsey or Hetherington even Pearson at hull

I went just to see what was happening. It wasn't a few people with an axe to grind, it wasn't people just shouting their mouths off. It was a group of genuine fans worrying about the club and looking for a way forward.
The presentation by the organisation that sets up RL Trusts was professional and the new organisation will be set up on professional grounds. The fact that there is already a trust, although lapsed, in place means that the new trust can move from today.
Dave the guy who organised it is very open and doesn't want to take control. There was no info about our impending doom.
I would advise everyone, even you Carnster, to get involved with this site and a web site maybe as a vehicle to take the club forward. I'll get details asap. About 100 turned out.

Well chaired by a lad named Dave. He was positive and seemed to be genuinely motivated to resurrect the supporters group. All was generally positive from about 100 people who were there. The meeting was steered away from Dr and current issues. A person from SD was present and again came over very positively. I would urge all fans to try and forget any issues with previous groups, and get on board with this attempt at uniting all our fans. Another meeting will be in 2 weeks and moves to become one voice moved forward. Possible renaming of Forever Salford.
