How would everyone feel if we were rebranded as "The Red Devils", omitting Salford from the name but excluding the dreaded M word?

In fact, on a match day i think the only time I actually read the word 'Salford' is on the walk up to the stadium... 'Salford City Reds'. |

I was chatting to a player on Tue night after the Utd game who told me the club IS NOT moving to Manchester. Sure he said something about the RFL stepping in to block the proposed move.

They have a contract to stay at the JJBell probably with big penalties, never likely to move.

Think they may come out with'news' about players, sponsorship, ownership etc. We're being 'professionally' marketed now.

Being truely professional though would mean they respond to questions asked of them. Hope there is news of new signings before the ST launch to grab peoples attention. |
