Maybe he wanted to play for Wakey all along and we were just a convenient stepping stone? Won't be missed by Salford.

Re: Hasson. Saw absolutely nothing in the guy that suggested he was going to be better than anyone else we have on the books. No great issue tho as we haven't exactly p1ssed half our salary cap away on him and he's been "an extra body" while we've been a little short in the pack.
As for McCarthy, can't say I rated him at Wire and was surprised he got a gig in the NRL. Anyone seen much of him since he's been over there? Like Hasson, I certainly wouldn't have thought he's an improvement on the likes of Walne, Griffin, Murray etc. More than happy to be put straight on this btw if my judgment is skewed somewhat!

That's fair enough, no qualms with that. I think Murray has been vastly underused since we brought him in and would expect to see him a lot more in the Super 8's.
Re: Olpherts. Is he with us and training or is he coming and of season? (I should prob know this Tbh!) Would be tempted to give him a run out against Leigh but suppose we can't be risking too much as we really need the 2 points to cement 3rd place.
