To bolster our team from SL or NRL, who would it be, and why?
I'm talking fantasy-land transfers like Paul Gallen, Jason Taumalolo, Sam Burgess, Jonathan Thurston, Cameron Smith, James Tedesco, Tom Trbojevic, Phil Joseph etc.

Would have to be either James Graham or Sam Burgess for me.

Would have to be either James Graham or Sam Burgess for me. Same for me. Graham and Burgess are natural leaders, hard as nails, and command great respect from teammates and opposition. Imagine how our pack would come on in ability with someone like Burgess or Graham leading them around?

Before the start of the NRL season I'd have chosen these guys too, but Graham in particular has been plagued with injury.
From a commercial POV someone like Billy Slater or Greg Inglis would be amazing, but for me I'd choose Jason Taumalolo - absolute wrecking ball! Sadly he's recently signed a TEN year contract with the Cowboys.

If you had said Union.I would have said Sonny Bill. think the criteria was NRL/SL not Pendleton Court Care Home!Sam for me, would put the wind up the rest of SL and there are a few pundits I'd like to see the face of when it was announced.

If it was possible I'd take Paul Gallen from 3 years ago, playing 80 minutes at prop in SOO is the most incredible thing I've ever seen from a forward, pretty much guarantee that we wouldn't have lost last Friday with someone like Gal in the team.
Slightly OT but I'd take Sean O'Loughlin for a season or two, wrap him in cotton wool between games and give him the remit to boss the players on the park. Like with Gal I doubt we'd have lost last Friday with his influence on the pitch.

James Roberts. Overlooked for Origin, but lightening fast and solid in "D" as Watto likes to say - can you imagine him outside Lui and Carney? Awesome!

I think the use of "D" along side the words selfie, bantz and constant overuse of "like" should result in said person being neutered to prevent them bringing more feckless numpties into the world. Me dystopian, you'd better believe it.

While faster than greased weasel turds, he does come with some of that, what professionals call, 'Rangi baggage'. Known to be a bit of teddy thrower, but I agree, a great talent.

Me dystopian, you'd better believe it. I pick up on that, like, kinda bantz as well MR and it's annoying as fook to me too.
Watto likes to say "Kind of" and "Sort of" a lot too. Which once it registers in an interview, I then ignore what else he says and have to count how many times he kind of, sort of says it. My own neurosis and I need to deal with it but failing miserably.
I was once on a Microsoft Exchange 2007 course (which in itself creates boredom off the scale, but as work was paying I went anyway) It was a 5 day course. The tutor was a bluff Yorkshire man who looked a little like Celebrity chef James Martin. (completely irrelevant) Within the first half day I'd worked out his tag line on the end of every other sentence was, for some reason: "Put those onto there.".... No idea why, just pure weird. Needless to say, the next 4 1/2 days went by as swiftly and pleasantly as the hundred years war, as I spent most of my time wondering if and when he was going to say it. Learnt nothing. Help me, someone.
